Dallas Roots
Debra’s Dallas roots grow deep. After graduating with a degree in Interior Design from the University of North Texas, Debra began her career in the early 90s at the World Trade Center as a furniture rep, then moved into kitchen design, drapery, and at Ethen Allen, while running Interior Insights. In 2019, she decided to open Interior Insights full time and is pleased to offer a wide range of services for her discerning clientele here in DFW.

Debra Coffey is passionate about helping you design your dream home. Whether that’s a loft in uptown, a sprawling new build in Prosper or a classic suburban home in central Plano, Debra can bring any vision to life. Her unique ability to marry form and function for everyone who lives in your home is second to none. Debra makes the entire design process fun and as stress-free as possible, making sure everyone’s voice is heard and their needs are met.

Meet Interior Insights
Interior Insights was started in 1992 by Debra Coffey as a way to keep her skills sharp while staying home with her now-grown kids. Taking it full time in 2019, Debra has been able to work with some of the same clients (and their friends, children and families!) she’s had for over 30 years.
Good design happens when your designer not only understands your space and how you use it, but has the resources to get the job done right. We’ve worked hard to cultivate relationships with some of the very best craftsman, artists and vendors in the metroplex who stand behind what they do.
